Over the years, we have had the privilege of welcoming more than 80 groups, including sports teams, schools, and various organisations. Time spent with us offers visitors the opportunity to engage with our island, its history, and our cultural knowledge through authentic, lived experiences.

 

Groups may join us for the day or stay within our space, fostering connection, understanding, and shared learning. Many visitors also have the opportunity to meet, mingle, and connect with our AKTT students, creating meaningful exchanges that extend beyond the visit itself.

 

Through these experiences, we have built many friendships and long-term connections that have grown into something deeper — often becoming whānau. We treasure these relationships, with many groups returning over the years, and when our team travels, reconnecting with the very communities we once hosted.

 

This initiative is donation-based, supporting the sustainability and growth of our community programmes.
